Our firm helped support the Benefit Poker Run and Car Show on August 14, 2010 in hopes of helping raise money for Lorraine Metakes, a local wife and mother of two who has been diagnosed with stage 3 brain cancer.
Participants in the event showed their support by riding their motorcycle or car from the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse to end at First Turn Lounge in South Daytona Beach for a poker game. Entry Fee was $20 per vehicle and $10 for each additional hand during the game.
Prizes for best and worst hand were given out, as well as a trophy for the car that Lorraine's daughter picked as her favorite.
Rue and Ziffra, P.A. was proud to be apart of a fun day that contributed to a wonderful cause for someone's life. Events likes these are what help our firm to connect personally with our community and put forth an effort to help others.
